Tomàs Pla, a toy collector, found me on the recommendation of the great antiquarian Rafael Ponsati that he rest in peace, to be able to restore the neoclassical palace that is on the Rambla de Sant Feliu de Guíxols in the province of Girona
After an exhaustive study of its texts and walls, a great work of restoration of said interiors was done several months on the scaffolding using gold leaf, restoring moldings, polychrome damaged parts, carving corners, redoing decorated borders, and a long etc...
In these moments I was 21 years old, I do not have photos in the file to see the beginning and the end of said works, but I have the end of them, as you can see ....
Two very important pieces were also made:
The neoclassical counter of the large entrance for the exhibition of the shop, all gold with 22 carat gold leaf and finished with bone white and marbled in the style of the 19th century, flowers of carving, etc ... all to taste Mr. Tomàs Pla ....
The chair of the wise men of the east, the construction of which. It was also to the owner's taste, gilded with 22 carat gold leaf with its 19th-century marble marbles, used above all at Christmas by one of the wise men from the east to attend to the children who will give the letter of the gifts in the museum enabled for the Christmas event
